HOW CAN I MAKE A DONATION
AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
The Milford Hospital Fund encourages contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations interested in supporting Milford Hospital.  Gifts to Milford Hospital are made through the Milford Hospital Fund and can be made in a variety of ways:

HONOR GIFTS:
To recognize a special occasion, such as an anniversary, a new arrival, promotion, graduation, a birthday, or to express appreciation for someone’s kindness or service.

BEQUESTS:    
To include Milford Hospital as a beneficiary in your will.

To Bequeath A Specific Amount

“I give, devise and bequeath to the Milford Hospital Fund for Milford Hospital a charitable non-profit corporation located in Milford, CT, the sum of $_______________, in support of the Hospital’s mission of service to continue to provide the highest quality of healthcare facilities, programs and services for the community it serves.”

To Bequeath a Percentage

“I give, devise and bequeath to the Milford Hospital Fund for Milford Hospital a charitable non-profit corporation located in Milford, CT, _____% of my residual estate, both real and personal, for use to support the Hospital’s mission of service to continue to provide the highest quality of healthcare facilities, programs and services for the community it serves.”

LIFE INSURANCE:
You may wish to make a gift of an old policy or purchase a new one that has the Milford Hospital Fund as the beneficiary.

LIFE INCOME GIFTS:    
Life Income Gifts allow you to make a gift to the Milford Hospital Fund and receive annual income from the gift’s investments, e.g., annuities and trusts.

OUTRIGHT GIFTS:    
This is the most popular form of charitable giving since it can be used immediately to support the ongoing programs and services of Milford Hospital.  Most outright gifts come to the Milford Hospital Fund through generosity of individuals in our community, grateful patients, organizations, corporations, and foundations by writing a check, money order, bank draft, credit card, by going on-line, or by sending securities.

All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and may be restricted by the donor for specific purposes or given as unrestricted donations to support the entire mission of Milford Hospital.

LEAVE A LEGACY (Planned Giving):    
Planned Giving provides a mechanism for Milford Hospital to preserve and protect its future. The hospital is dedicated to medical excellence and community service. Gifts from those who have left us have helped to create this Hospital that serves thousands of patients and families each year. Your support can ensure our future so that those who come after us can enjoy the quality healthcare facilities and programs and services that we have come to appreciate and utilize.
